Purr-A-Lot is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that has been around since 2012. Our mission has been to assist with the feline overpopulation crisis through adoption, community events, and public education. We partner with rural shelters and Trap-Neuter-Return groups to provide lifesaving support that helps keep our communities euthanasia-free. Since 2012, we have successfully adopted out over 3000 cats to their furever loving homes.

From 2012-2023, we operated on a foster home basis. People joined us in opening their homes and creating mini intake spaces for the most helpless of cats and kittens. Together we worked to provide these precious animals love and care. We hosted community events to get both cats and dogs vaccinated and microchipped at low cost thanks to the generosity of our local veterinarians and our partners at Petsmart and Petco.

In 2024, Purr-A-Lot grew to the point where we were ready to put down roots, securing our first space in Bixby, Oklahoma. After a successful first year, we recognized a growing need within the Tulsa metro area for accessible, low-cost veterinary care. In response, our organization made the decision to expand our mission and services to better support the community.

In April 2025 with the support of our incredible Shelter Veterinarian and Medical Director, Dr. Blake Parisotto, we opened an affordable veterinary clinic. We began partnering with fellow rescue organizations and municipal shelters to provide spay and neuter services for pets throughout the metro area, along with other essential veterinary care. Through these efforts, we are helping bridge a critical gap for access to affordable care for pets in our community.

Dr. Blake Parisotto
Dr. Blake Parisotto
Dr. Blake Parisotto is a proud alumnus of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018.
Dr. Parisotto joined Purr-A-Lot as Shelter Veterinarian in 2024 and quickly became an instrumental part of our organization's growth and mission. His dedication, leadership, and passion for accessible veterinary care were the driving force behind the opening of our affordable veterinary clinic in 2025.
In just a few short years with Purr-A-Lot, Dr. Parisotto has helped save thousands of animals' lives through rescue partnerships, spay and neuter initiatives, and essential medical care for underserved pets throughout our communities. He remains deeply committed to continuing that impact and improving the lives of animals across Oklahoma.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Parisotto is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his two children.

Dr. Keara Miller
Dr. Keara Miller is a proud alumna of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2023.
Originally from Tahlequah, Dr. Miller joined Purr-A-Lot in 2025 to expand our capacity and further our mission of impacting even more animals in need.
Dr. Miller has a deep love for animals of all shapes and sizes - from aquatics and exotics to, of course, cats and dogs. Her passion for veterinary medicine and compassionate care makes her an invaluable part of the Purr-A-Lot team.
When she is not caring for animals, Dr. Miller can usually be found with her nose buried in a good book. She is also a devoted Disney fanatic and aerialist extraordinaire.
